IFDA NY Member Julie Schuster Shares Her Creative Inspiration For DIFFA's PICNIC BY DESIGN

Summer,
Picnics,
Philanthropy,
Rooftop Dining,
Creative Picnic Baskets,
Delicious Food...
only some of the fun had at
DIFFA's 3rd Annual
PICNIC BY DESIGN!
This event was an exciting and creative summer gala highlighting design, food and fun for a good cause.  Designers created fabulous picnic baskets that were sold in advance online.  When guests arrived, they were escorted to their one-of-a-kind designer picnic set-up, which they took home with them after the festivities, and proceeds benefited DIFFA. Many designer friends over on social media shared photographs from the event and their creative designs.  In case you missed the evening with DIFFA for a rooftop picnic for two where guests picked up your very own creatively designed picnic basket on Wednesday, August 13 from 6:30-10:30 pm at the Midtown Loft & Terrace at 267 Fifth Ave. @ 29th Street, here are some images from
Our very own IFDA NY chapter member Julie Schuster's basket.  Check out Julie's (JULIE SCHUSTER DESIGN STUDIO) basket for the event.
"I chose the theme 'Zen Garden'
because of my interest and practice in Feng Shui.
I love the idea of the balance of the elements
(Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood) being
synonymous with the idea of a balanced meal.
My vignette has just that;
a balance of the elements."
Julie Schuster

Julie thanks:
Barbara Barran of Classic Rug,
Martin Albert Interiors,
Robert Allen/Beacon Hill Fabrics,
Marc Blackwell and Roberta Roller Rabbit for all donating to her basket
